What we collect

Artists: name, email, password (stored only as a bcrypt hash), and anything you choose to put in your profile.

Listeners: the name and email you give at purchase, what you bought, and when you played it. We set one anonymous cookie so likes are not double-counted.

Everyone: ordinary server logs.

We never receive your card number. Stripe handles payment details directly.

The watermark — what it means for you

Each copy we press carries an identifier that links it to your purchase, and we keep that link. If a copy turns up somewhere it should not be, the artist can match it to the purchase record. That is the whole point of the service, and you should know it before you buy.

Why we keep it

To deliver what you bought, to pay artists correctly, to trace leaks, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data or run advertising on it.

Who else sees it

Stripe, for payments. Artists see the name, email, and purchase history of people who bought their music. Nobody else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Purchase records and watermark payloads are kept as long as the tracing capability is meaningful — deleting them would destroy the artist's only evidence in a leak. Close your account and we remove your profile and login; the sales ledger stays as a financial record.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time. Cookies here are strictly functional — sign-in, playback keys, and like-deduplication. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
